The big job will be cleaning up the bits around the garden that have accumulated -- please plan on taking your trash home for the Tuesday morning City trash pick up.Remember keeping the garden clean of debris and general non-garden materials is a priority this year.
The grass needs to be cut down -- does anyone have a weed whacker or scythe? Otherwise the garden will purchase one.
Volunteers are needed for the following tasks
Someone to record gardeners volunteer hours - a form will be supplied.
Trash pick up throughout the garden
Pull weeds along the Berkeley edge towards the sidewalk
Tidy up the Shawmut garden end
Use the lawn mower where possible
Cut overgrown grass along C Row and middle area with scythe or weed whacker
Please meet by the shed to sign up for specific tasks or to pick up tools.
